PTFE has the characteristic of being a chemically inert material with excellent non-toxic properties and thus ideal for use in the food industry meeting FDA requirements. Resistance to compression and permanent deformation is one of the best mechanical features of PTFE, same case applying to hardness, flexural strength and plastic memory, in a wide temperature range. In fact, PTFE has excellent dielectric qualities, remaining intact in the values up to a temperature range of between -200 and +260°C.

Technical features:

  • Low coefficient of friction
  • Excellent properties of resistance to external agents
  • High degree of anti-adhesiveness
  • Excellent resistance to low and high temperatures (-200°C to +260°C)
  • Excellent dielectric properties
  • Resistance to oxidation and UV rays
  • Resistance to corrosion
  • No water absorption
  • Inert to all known chemical reagents
